Preschool & Primary Admission

Pupils seeking admission into preschool are assessed informally and placed into the appropriate classes by their age.
Admission into the primary is by a more structured assessment. Tests in English and Mathematics are administered and the age of the child is also taken into consideration in all classes.

Age Requirements

The following age requirements apply to the stated classes below;

Preschool: 2 – 6 years
Primary: 6 – 11 years

How To Apply

College (Junior School) Admission

Complete application form online and scan the documents listed below to accompany your form. Entrance Exam Date for Admission into year 7(JSI) and year 10 (SSI) is as published. Admission into other classes can be arranged via SMS or email or by telephone appointment.
Application form may be purchased from informally from our school or download the application form online, fill it and bring it to our school. The completed application form may then be submitted with the following documents:

Two (2) recent passport photographs
Photocopy of birth certificate
Last academic report from child’s current school
Character testimonial from current school

Eligibility For Admission

To be eligible for admission into New Smeridian College, the pupils must:

Not be less than ten years by September of the year of admission
Score at least 50% in the Overall Admission Test
Submit a Medical Report and History to the College
Show evidence of parent’s ability and willingness to pay the school fees.
